I decided to upload my favorite piece in the last year, the Beirut poster I designed for their show at l'Olympia in Paris. I hand design and hand print posters, and my eyes are trained to see color in the black and clear positives I paint. These are paintings that reveal themselves through the printing. I never use a computer in any phase of creating posters, because I believe that computer based design leads to homogenous trending, and flattens our own ability to see by presenting only clean, perfected, images. Design that is rendered by hand reminds the world that an artist is behind the image, and the audiences eye can recognize that.
